You're not gonna believe this...

...But the Vimeo page for "Jack's Angry Dance" just got 125 views in less than 6 hours!

That's small compared to Youtube, but this is still amazing since the Youtube version still has near 90 views in 3 days.

I'm willing to bet that the guys that I sent this video to at Insomniac spread it internally like a viral video... Very nice!

I can't thank enough of you guys for all the views!

Jack's Angry Dance is Done!

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Update on "Jack's Angry Dance"

I can now happily report that 01M:53S is done in the 04M:30S video.

Tomorrow, Garland Chang and I will finish up the interior shots inside the school, which includes the surprise bonus song...

Ryan Schneider (a host of The Full Moon Show) did reply to a exclusive 45 sec preview I sent him and a 30 second preview that's a follow up to the 45 second preview... and he's excited! Awesome! *backslap*

And also... after tons of searching... I finally got the Flight of the Conchords DVD box set!!! 5.1 FTW! (I'm a slacker for online purchasing... What can I say? I like retail...)
Edit #2: Apparently the 5.1 surround is a misinformation on the part of the retailer, but it does look awesome upscaled via my PS3 on my 1050p monitor.

Edit: Oh by the way, if you want to see the original version called "Bret's Angry Dance", Here's a YouTube version of it:

Extra day in spring break, but don't like it. (rant)

In fact, I did exactly what Ed's belly told Ed to do in "Cleanliness is next to Edliness": Go to school when there wasn't school...

I really need to finish the video to channel my jealousy and envy of Paul Featherstone and a delay just increases my jealousy and envy.

Also I'm getting impatient with Victor Lucas to see if he's gonna reply to my Summer Job opportunity exploration...

And in the back of my mind, I know I need a job to get that HVR-Z1U...

All in all, if things start going their way, life will be better...

New Video coming...

As I mentioned on one of my bulletins on Youtube, I have a video based on "Bret's Angry Dance" coming soon. Here's the progress:

The intro and outro are done. Now I need to film the external and in-school shots.

There's an extra special animation at the end for a certain IG employee (not Paul Featherstone.) This is also the first video where I'm using my fair condition over a decade old extra wide 0.5x wide angle lens.

Once again, if you see me angry in front of a camera, it should be fine.

New drawing done

Check it out on my DeviantArt page. The link is on the right.

I've got one drawing in production (involving Richard Per) and another in concept right now (Flight of the Conchords related).

Thank you Richard Allin...

The guy I told you about in the below post unbricked my PSP today and I'm back to 3.40 OE-A.

The problem now... The "Secret Agent Clank" bundled firmware...

Hopefully it's BELOW or AT 3.40 or else my custom soundtracking would have to be sacrificed again... (You see, the plugin I'm trying to run called irsmp3 and filenamed under irsmp3.prx or music.prx no longer runs on that firmware.)

High Impact, you've already been naughty by adding so many additional Custom Firmware glitches, at least keep the firmware cap lower this time...

Bricked it...

This is terrible. The guy I paid to get my PSP to Custom firmware again made the wrong firmware (3.80 M33) that can't get back down to 1.50 so I could get back to 3.40 OE-A. I'm lazy and also have no spare memory sticks to make Pandora batteries so I didn't make one to go back to 1.50 (which was the only way to get back to 1.50 from 3.80 M33) Now in the process of trying to directly flash 3.40, I BRICKED IT!

Now I have to get that a-hole (please excuse me) 10 more bucks to unbrick it with a Pandora battery to possibly get 1.50. Unless he could do this unbrick for free, I'm mad as hell.

Laptop's back.

Now I can restart some of the work that's been on hold... Including catching up on a few episodes of some TV shows...

Stage6 is done for...

And now I am in a frantic struggle to re-upload videos I still have to Vimeo. Seems like the financial burden was too much to handle for the site and it shutdown because of it.

The service they're re-directing people to, Veoh, doesn't look promising so I'll stick with Vimeo. But what a bummer...
